Dr. Vassileva has been practicing medicine since 1986. Born and raised in Bulgaria, she is fluent in both English and Russian. With her background in medical education, she is well equipped to communicate with her patients. Dr. Vassileva moved to the United States in 1998 to work as a postdoctoral fellow and to spend time working on kidney research.

From Bulgaria to Oklahoma, Dr. Vassileva has gained much experience, distinguishing herself as an exemplary physician through a list of significant accomplishments. Dr. Vassileva’s accolades include:
- Medical graduate of Sofia Medical University in Bulgaria
- Assistant Professor of Physiology for 12 years
- Postdoctoral fellow at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta
